9. Destroying the Los Angeles Lakers by 27
While you kind of expect a Kobe-less Lakers team (where you can barely name anyone else) to get beaten badly and often, there is always a satisfaction with beating a team where you have a fierce rivalry.
That’s what the Suns did just before Christmas, just obliterating the Lakers 117-90. This was the part of the year when Phoenix was on a tear with a 17-10 record. In the game, five Suns players got into double-digits scoring wise, but the plus/minus stats were just ridiculous. Miles Plumlee played nearly 31 minutes, but had a +35 plus minus. The rest of the team had similarly crazy plus/minus numbers.
