1. Bledsoe buzzer-beating game winner versus the Utah Jazz

It was the second game of the season. After beating the Trailblazers in the season opener, the Suns had let the Jazz stay in the game and now it was all knotted up at 84. Bledsoe was in the enviable position to have the wonderful “safety net” of overtime below him as he waited for the clock to wind down.

Then he started dribbling.

He backed up a bit, staring down the taller Gordon Hayward, then made his move. With a hard first step he rocked Hayward back (since any points would win the game, Hayward had to react), then Bledsoe set his feet and let it fly from the top of the arc as the buzzer sounded. Those few moments the ball was in the air seemed to take forever. Then the ball swished straight through.

Game over.

That is when you know Eric Bledsoe is going to be a star and Ryan McDonough was a genius for stealing him away from the Clippers.
