Alex Len was the Suns surprising choice with the 5th overall pick in 2013. A recovery from ankle surgery has limited his time on the floor. The Ukranian big man has only played in 13 games this season. Not exactly the start you want to see in the rookie year of a top 5 pick.

Now that Len is healed though, he has actually been playing respectably. He had nine points and six rebounds in 16 minutes versus Denver. Not bad at all. Of course,
he still had a lot of growing to do before it can be decided whether or not he was the right pick , but the big guy has taken his first step of the thousand mile journey. In the end, he was drafted as a high risk, high reward pick. We just haven’t figured out which one it is yet.
