OUT – Eric Bledsoe, Marquese Chriss, Miami’s 1st round pick, Suns’ 2nd round pick
IN – DeAngelo Russell, Trevor Booker and Jarrett Allen

Why would the Nets do this?  This would probably be the trickiest trade of this bunch. Russell has star potential and Brooklyn is high on him hence the need to include two good picks as bribes. Eric Bledsoe gives them a proven PG as well. Marquese Chriss could use a change of scenery and may flourish in Brooklyn.

Why would the Suns do this?  Russell, as mentioned, has star potential, fits the timeline and is a good friend of Devin Booker’s. In this messy start of a season, it is crucial to make sure Devin stays happy and wants to be here. Bringing in DeAngelo would definitely help. Trevor Booker is a vet and would bring great hustle and double doubles either as a starter or off the bench before his contract expires at the end of the season. Allen was worked out by Phoenix prior to the draft and they loved his motor and defense which is already showing in games.
