Before I begin, I want to explicitly state that I do not in any way believe that Dragan Bender is a better player right now than Devin Booker or even Marquese Chriss. This list is based solely on potential and from what we have seen of Dragan, one thing is for sure: he has potential. In the Las Vegas Summer League, Bender showed a much more consistent three-point shot than last summer, defensive versatility, improved court vision, and most importanty: new-found confidence. Dragan Bender fits the “Modern NBA Big Man” mold. Let’s see if he pans out.
