3. The Memphis Buzzer-Beater
During his time with the Suns, J-Rich had plenty of opportunities to show he was more than just an enigmatic dunker, especially when it came to late-game heroics. Back when Phoenix was still capable of beating the Memphis Grizzlies in 2010, an inbounds pass from Grant Hill (who else?) found J-Rich wide open near the basket for a game-tying alley-oop that sent their November matchup to overtime.
Phoenix won the game, 123-118, in double overtime. Jason Richardson led the Suns with 38 points and eight rebounds in that hard-fought battle.
From dagger three-pointers against the San Antonio Spurs in the playoffs to that three he made against the Lakers (right before the missed boxout), J-Rich was not shy when the pressure was on. This well-drawn up play gave him the opportunity to showcase that confidence AND his athleticism.
