In a move that seemed to come out of nowhere, the Phoenix Suns on Saturday traded Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkoglu and Earl Clark to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Vince Carter, Marcin Gortat, Mickael Pietrus, a 2011 1st round draft pick and about $3 million, according to a Suns release.
ESPN’s Chris Broussard, as well [...]

Phoenix Suns 128, Minnesota Timberwolves 122 – Four days of rest produces high-energy Suns
December 15th, 2010 · 5 Comments
PHOENIX — Wednesday night’s game showed all the signs early on of a classic slumpbuster for the Suns.
And then it didn’t. Then it did again.
How it got categorized after the final buzzer ultimately didn’t matter, as the Suns were looking for any kind of win, and they got it, 128-122 over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Phoenix Suns practice report: Team confident in Jason Richardson
December 13th, 2010 · No Comments
PHOENIX — 6-for-28.

PHOENIX — After the Suns blew a 23-point advantage in Wednesday’s loss to the Bulls, they worried about becoming a team that earns a reputation for coughing up such leads.
They may have taken the victory Friday against the Clippers, 116-108, but the Suns did nothing to remove the label of a team for which no [...]

Phoenix Suns 123, Houston Rockets 116 — What a difference Nash makes
November 23rd, 2010 · 12 Comments
Steve Nash won his first MVP award in large part because of how bad an otherwise spectacular Suns team was in his absence during the 2004-05 season.
Although I doubt Nash will ever be known as “Three Time,” the contrast between Saturday’s ugly loss in Charlotte and tonight’s pretty (offensively at least) 123-116 win over Houston [...]
