Suns release 2014 preseason schedule

The Phoenix Suns announced a seven-game preseason schedule on Monday that begins against Brazilian team Flamengo and also includes six Western Conference opponents. Jeff Horancek’s crew opens the season on Oct. 8 with a home date against Flamengo and will play the six remaining preseason games over the following 17 days.

Phoenix will host Denver and San Antonio while hitting the road for games against the Rockets, Lakers (in Anaheim), Clippers and Jazz. Here’s a look at the entire slate.


Oct. 8 vs. Flamengo (Brazil) (7 p.m. MST)

Oct. 10 vs. Denver Nuggets (7 p.m. MST)

Oct. 13 @ Houston Rockets (5 p.m. MST)

Oct. 16 vs. San Antonio Spurs (7 p.m. MST)

Oct. 21 @ Los Angeles Lakers (at the Honda Center in Anaheim at 7 p.m. MST)

Oct. 22 @ Los Angeles Clippers (7:30 p.m. MST)

Oct. 24 @ Utah Jazz (6 p.m.)
