Archie Goodwin was one of the youngest players in the NBA last season, playing his rookie season as a 19-year-old kid. He averaged 3.7 points and 10.3 minutes per game in 52 games last year that includes a career-high 29 points in the season finale against the Sacramento Kings.
Today, August 17th, Goodwin leaves his teen years behind him and enters his 20′s. The former first round pick out of Kentucky showed heaps of potential during his limited playing time last year and is very much a part of the Suns bright future.
Goodwin shares his birthday with celebrity actor Robert De Niro, ESPN analyst and Super Bowl winning coach Jon Gruden, and athletes such as Dustin Pedroia, Rudy Gay and Jorge Posada.
