This is our daily feature here at SunNGun where we scavenge the internet for recent stories related to the Phoenix Suns organization and relay them to you, so we are the one-stop-shopping for all things Phoenix Suns. We’ll have it for you everyday, hopefully in the morning. The links to these full articles are in the title, take a look at the entire stories. The writers at all the other blogs are good and have some interesting information and perspective, but come back here for our take and full coverage of the team.
“The Suns signed 6-foot-10 forward Shavlik Randolph and released little-used center Slava Kravtsov Saturday morning. Randolph was recently playing overseas in China where he was averaging 22.3 points and 12.3 rebounds a game in six appearances. He just returned from China when he found out about the news. “I just got back and was just working out in Miami when my agent called me, and I ended up meeting with Ryan (McDonough) in Raleigh,” Randolph said. “They wanted to bring me in and work me out, one thing led to another and I ended up staying.”
“The Suns had an ugly week, going 1-2 overall, but punctuated by a big win on national TV to end it on a high note. Several players made their mark this week, including Mr. 40 points, but one player is really starting to come into his own and could soon become another play maker on both sides of the court.”
“Did someone forget to tell Phoenix Suns point guard Goran Dragic that the All-Star selection process is over? The surprise breakout performer of the NBA‘s surprise playoff contender looks like he’s still fighting for his spot in the midseason classic—or working double-time to show how bad his omission really was.”
