Suns versus 76ers

After their fantastic 25-6 third quarter versus Cleveland that helped bring Phoenix back from a 20-point deficit to eat the Cavs, the Phoenix Suns now have to play Philly on end of a back-to-back.

One of the main thing’s the Suns can’t afford to do against the 76ers is get complacent. They can’t play down to their competition. The 76ers are 14-30. They can’t fall into the trap.

Key Matchup:

Goran Dragic versus Michael Carter-Williams. While Carter-Williams will stuff the stat sheet, The Dragon will take advantage of him, he always seems to outplay those young rookies.

What the Suns offense needs to focus on:

Stay aggressive, don’t get complacent. Don’t settle for outside jumpers if they’re not going down. A solid, decent performance overall will “crush” the 76er’s spirit, and they’ll go down.

What the Suns defense needs to watch out for:

Don’t let them get out in transition. Don’t give them easy baskets. It’s the only way they’ll stay in the game. Don’t let Michael Carter-Williams be a distributor and playmaker. Don’t let Thaddeus Young get hot.

Prediction:

Suns will be victorious by a score of 115-98.
