5. Beating Lakers in Nash’s first game back in Phoenix January 30th:
Last season there wasn’t much to celebrate, but one such occasion was the victory over the bitter rival Los Angeles Lakers in Steve Nash’s return to U.S. Airways Center after we traded him there the previous offseason. The Suns won 92-86 in what happened to be one of the few Michael Beasley games. He scored 27 points off the bench as Phoenix held Kobe to 17 points, Nash to 11 and Dwight Howard to nine. That was a pretty happy day in the valley of the sun.
