2013-14 Phoenix Suns Tickets: The Five Most Expensive Home Games

The Phoenix Suns enjoyed sustained success in the mid-2000s reaching the Western Conference three times in five years from 2005-2010. Following this successful period the Suns have been a very inconsistent team and have failed to reach the playoffs every season since then. Phoenix has added guard Eric Bledsoe who can score in bunches and is averaging over 20 points per game this season as well as big man Alex Len, a lottery pick in this years draft. The average price for Phoenix Suns tickets on the secondary market this season have fallen by 12% since 2012-13 and are now going for an average $103 per seat. However for the Suns bigger matchup of the season their average ticket price for those games increases dramatically. Here are their five most expensive games of the season:

1) 2/11 vs Miami Heat – Avg: $345 | Get-in: $59 | 235% Above Avg

The Suns biggest game of the year comes when Lebron James and the two time defending NBA Champion Miami Heat. There is no hotter ticket in town than when the Heat are on the schedule which is why tickets are more than three times the Phoenix Suns season average of $103 at a staggering price of $345 per ticket. Thats an increase of 235%, but fans can still find plenty of cheaper options as the Get-in is only $59.

2) 12/23 vs Los Angeles Lakers – Avg Price: $310 | Get-in: $63 | 201% Above Avg

Steve Nash was once the face of the franchise for the Suns, now he is on the visiting Los Angeles Lakers as he makes his return to Phoenix on December 23rd. This game will be a great test to see how rookie Alex Len plays against Pau Gasol who has the most complete all-around game of any big in the league. Tickets are going at 201% above average for a stunning price of $310 per person while the Get-in is only $63.

3) 1/15 vs Los Angeles Lakers – Avg Price: $258 | Get-in: $52 | 150% Above Avg

The third highest priced Phoenix Suns game this season comes in the Lakers second trip out to Arizona. Steve Nash will be going to the Hall of Famer at the end of his respected careers which is why Eric Bledsoe will try to outduel him in this meeting to prove that he is the next in line to be the Suns face of the franchise. Tickets for this game are over $50 cheaper than their first meeting in Phoenix at $258 with a Get-in of $52.

4) 3/4 vs Los Angeles Clippers – Avg Price: $219 | Get-in: $17 | 113% Above Avg

The LA Clippers have quickly become one of the most exciting teams in the NBA with Chris Paul and Blake Griffin teaming up to become “Lob City.” Doc Rivers takes over this team bringing experience and wisdom to a team that just needs some guidance to take their game to the next level. Tickets are going 113% above the Sun’s normal home game at $219.

5) 2/23 vs Houston Rockets – Avg Price: $213 | Get-in: $30 | 107% Above Avg
