Goran Dragic hoops against flaming-stick-yielding Barbarian

Goran Dragic and his native Slovenia are readying up to host the 2013 Eurobasket event, so it’s probably a good time for companies to cash in on his fame. The Suns point guard tweeted out the YouTube link for this Telemach commercial — Telemach, by the way, looks like a television, mobile phone and internet provider.

It’s fun to watch since we don’t know what’s being said. Questions that must be asked include what Goran Dragic did to tick off the flaming-stick-yielding Barbarian man, and why he didn’t take off his zip-up hoodie before trying to dribble past the flaming-stick-yielding Barbarian — what if the loose hoodie got caught on the guy’s axe when Dragic blows by him?

Anyway, the Suns can only hope Dragic was protected if these flames are real. I mean, the fire was shooting up through the chain net. Even the tiki lamps looked like they had too much lighter fluid in them, so let’s hope Slovenian media companies have enough money for that to have been really good CGI.

    That is awesome! With Goran and Bledsoe, it should be an entertaining season for the new look Suns and I can’t wait!!

    Any chance the Suns look at a shooting European big in Mirza Teletovic who makes the veteran min this and next year on a loaded Nets roster? I think that is a guy that Hornacek would love to spread the floor and up our horrific 3pt % from last year. Guys, any chance there’s a trade to be made here at all??

    This is a commercial for new internet packages called BASKETBALL MIX … it offers connections from 12 Mbps to 120 Mbps …and it is free for first 6 months for new customers ;) and btw they have enough money.. believe me ;) and price for one of those packages for example is 64USD (u get 50 / 2 Mbps internet speed, more then 160 tv stations, 19HD stations, and phone)

    Goran the Barbarian? I think I saw that movie … ;)

    @Mirza -

    If I’m counting correctly, the Nets have 16 players on their team right now. Someone will get cut or traded before the start of the season, and you never know, it might be Teletovic.

    However, as you probably know, the Suns are already at 16 players themselves. So at this point it looks doubly unlikely to me that Teletovic signs with the Suns.

    But you never know.

    (BTW, seeing as the Nets are contending for a championship, Teletovic would probably prefer to stay with the Nets.)

    Guys, I had (and still have) a problem when loading the site. When I try to visit you directly vist the browser typing http://www.valleyofhtesuns.com I can’t connect with this site (and I tried it from different computers and internet connections). It only works when I type “valley of the suns” in google and visit you via the search results. Any ideas/reasons/solutions for this?

  • Scott

    ^^ In the above case, you have “valleyof HTE suns,” which is not spelled correctly.

  • Sillmarillion

    Yes, but I made the typo only now writing in the forums, not when I actually tried to join the site which is in my favourites anyway.

  • Scott

    Well … when I type in “valleyofthesuns.com” it takes me to the site. I can copy / paste that from this comment, put it in my location line, hit return, and I’m at the site. So the glitch is somewhere between you and the site, but not between me and the site.

    You could try http://valleyofthesuns.com/ without the www although it should redirect you either way. It does for me at least.

    It’s okay by now, but I had this issue for some days. Nevermind ;)

    @Sillmarillion -

    I believe it was a glitch in the network that corrected itself. Things like that happen periodically.
