The thing about the Chicago Bulls this offseason is that it was never about the draft or free agency, or even a big trade. The biggest improvement was always going to come via #TheReturn — sorry, habit — of Derrick Rose. So it’s not like there’s really a lot to complain about.

Mike Dunleavy is an excellent shooter and fits the Bulls like a glove. Yeah, Nate Robinson and Marco Belinelli are gone, but Rose is back, Dunleavy’s better, and guys like Marquis Teague and Jimmy Butler figure to improve. Tony Snell doesn’t figure to play much, but he seems pretty solid so far. So overall, it’s hard to complain too much. The Bulls were good last year and will be better this year.

Bring on the Heat.
