The Phoenix Suns(12-24) fell to the Milwaukee Bucks(17-16) last night by the final score of 99-108. The loss is the Suns 3rd straight loss and 10th straight road loss. The Bucks on the other hand snapped their 4-game losing streak and Bucks new head coach Jim Boylan wins his 1st game. The Bucks were led by their dynamic point guard Brandon Jennings who torched the Suns for 29 points, 5 made 3-points, and 9 assists.

“I’m just hooping,” Jennings said. “It was weird looking on the end of the bench and he wasn’t there. I’m sure I’ll get over it soon. Jim’s been here for four years. It’ll be good sooner or later. I almost called Jim `Scott’ at one point,” Jennings added. “But, hey, it’s a business. I understand now. I’ve seen a lot.”

The Bucks once again got great performances out of their young power forwards Larry Sanders and John Henson. Sanders who has been a swat machine season recorded 10 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 6 blocks last night. Henson, who was taken in this year’s draft 1 pick after Kendall Marshall recorded his 2nd double-double in four games despite playing limited minutes added 12 points, 11 rebounds and a block off the bench.

The Suns once again blew the game in the 2nd half. Heading into halftime the Suns were on top 56-50 but got outscored 58-43 in the 2nd half. The Suns gave up a 13-0 run to the Bucks in the 3rd quarter which was capped off by a Ersan Ilyasova lay-up; prior to that run the Suns were up 66-58 but trailed 71-66 after the run.

“We can’t play 40 minutes, 42 minutes or 38-minute games where we play pretty good and give ourselves an opportunity and then let it deteriorate away over a four- or five-minute period,” Phoenix coach Alvin Gentry said. “That’s kind of how our season has gone, really. We’ve just got to find a way to get better. The season is slipping away.”

Marcin Gortat had himself another solid performance as he led the Suns with 16 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and a block. This is Gortat’s 4th double-double in the last 5 games.

“Everything went down again,” Marcin Gortat said of the second half. “Brandon Jennings, he just took it over, he started shooting 3s. We couldn’t stop him.”

Once again the Phoenix Suns were plagued by turnovers. The Suns committed 16 turnovers last night which led to 22 points for Milwaukee. Goran Dragic who had one his better games of the season last night against the Bucks put up 21 assists and 4 assists but Dragic had as many turnovers last night as he did assists.

Jared Dudley’s great play continues as he put up 18 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Dudley since being moved backed to the small-forward position has absolutely blossomed offensively.

The Suns bench was once again a non-factor. The Suns bench collectively shot 9 of 31 from the field and scored a total of 26 points; Michael Beasley saw his second DNP-CD(Did not play coach’s decision) last night in the last 4 games.

The Suns won’t have a lot of time to catch their breath as they’re set to take on the Boston Celtics tonight at the T.D Garden in Boston.
