The Phoenix Suns (3-4) are set to take on the Denver Nuggets (4-3) in a game at home tonight. The Nuggets are a 5 point favorite in this match-up according to ESPN.com. The Nuggets are on a 4 game winning streak, winning their last one against the Warriors in overtime, they will look to continue their streak after starting the season 0-3. The Suns on the other hand is fresh off a loss against the Jazz in yet another comeback situation however ultimately they fell short. Wilson Chandler of the Denver Nuggets is listed as day to day on the injured list.

Keys to the game: SUNS

– The Suns need to keep the hustling Denver bunch off the boards, guys like Andre Iguodala, Kenneth Faried and JaVale Mcgee.

– The Suns will also need to guard up on the perimeter against this Nuggets team. They have some excellent 3-point marksmen on that team and they can heat up in a hurry.

– The Suns need to keep the turnovers down like they have all season long. The Nuggets thrive off of turnovers and the last thing you want to do is to give this up-tempo Nuggets squad easy transition baskets.

Keys to the game: Nuggets

– The Nuggets haven’t been known for their defense but they’ve done a pretty fine job defensively on the down-low holding their opponents to only about 96 points per game.

– The Nuggets need to continue to play with hustle and energy on the glass behind sophomore play Kenneth Faried and JaVale Mcgee.

The X-Factor:

– The X-Factor in this game will be how these two teams play the glass. Both teams has struggled shooting the ball into this young season so anytime an easy second chance comes by, whichever team that takes the most advantage of that will have that much more of a chance to come out of tonight’s game with a W.

Match-up of the night!

– Tonight’s match-up of the night will be the battle between the point guards, Ty Lawson vs. Goran Dragic. Lawson is one of the rising stars in this league but he’s struggled a bit out of the gates, Dragic on the other hand seems like the same guy we saw in Houston last season however it seems like he hasn’t played his best yet. This will be a fun match-up to watch for all night long!
