score of 94-115. The Magic were led by the red hot shooting J.J Reddick who torched the Suns for 24 points and 6 assists including 3 3-pointers; Glen Davis and Aaron Afflalo each added a strong 22 points for Orlando.

The Suns looked sharp early on leading Orlando 56-46 heading into halftime led by Luis Scola’s 16 1st half points; Scola finished with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Michael Beasly added 22 points and 6 rebounds of his own.

After leading the Magic 71-60 at the 6:54 mark in the 3rd quarter after a Michael Beasley 3-pointer, Orlando went on a 26-5 run in the last 6:54 minutes of the 3rd quarter and led the Suns 86-76 after 3 quarters. The Magic outscored the Suns 40-20 in the 3rd quarter.

During that incredible 3rd quarter run by Orlando, 2nd year player Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Afflalo each scored 8 points for the Magic during that stretch; the Magic as a team made 9 of 13 shot attempts during that stretch.

The Suns seemed to just lose it completely during the 3rd quarter and never got back into rhythm and ultimately got ran out of the building by a less than mediocre team. The Suns got outscored in the 2nd half by Orlando 69-38 in total; that’s embarrassing.

Orlando did a terrific job shooting the long ball making an absolutely sizzling 9 of 11 3-point attempts. The Magic also did a great job from the free throw line making 16 of 19 free throws.

Jared Dudley’s struggle continues through the 3rd game of the season. Dudley scored only 3 points in the game which came on the first possession of the game; Dudley finished 1 of 4 shooting on the night.

This was an awful loss for the Suns as they had control of the game throughout the first 30 minutes, and to watch them just collapse in that fashion is just nothing short of an ugly scene. This game was a very winnable game for the Suns, and it’s not going to get any easier for the Suns as they head on over to South Beach tomorrow night to take on the defending champion Heat.

Many Suns fans are surprising optimistic this season and if these Suns don’t want to disappoint their fans these games are the ones they have to win. The Orlando Magic is not a very talented team and that’s reflected in that their best player is Aaron Afflalo.

Luckily for the Suns they still have 79 games left to go, unluckily for the Suns they scored a total of 23 points in the final 19 minutes of the game and wound up with L!
