The Phoenix Suns Get Set For Preseason

The Phoenix Suns will play their first preseason game tonight at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento in a match up against the Kings. The Suns will play 6 preseason games before opening night and the Suns are going to face the Kings again later on the month at the U.S Airways Center in downtown Phoenix. The Suns also have games against the Blazers and Nuggets at home and away games at the Thunder, Mavericks and Warriors.

The Suns game to game rotation is still up in the air which means any player not named Marcin Gortat will be fighting tooth and nail for minutes. Alvin Gentry has many tasks to accomplish this season and figuring out who plays well together is going to be as important as any of them.

Preseason games are exciting. There’s really not much on the line, you get to see what kind of improvements players made throughout the off-season, you get to see what the rookies are made of and you get a preview of the upcoming season. It’s going to be a crazy ride this season, and it begins tonight!
