Almost all professional sports team have their players go through a pre-training camp physical and unfortunately for the Phoenix Suns and Channing Frye, Frye is now out “Indefinitely” With an enlarged heart.
The heart condition was discovered by team doctors and Frye has gone to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to have his heart looked at. Frye will not participate in basketball activities with the Suns until December. Frye’s heart condition is a condition that’s possibily fatal and is typically treated with a drug regimen according to the Mayo Clinic web page.
It was expect by most that Channing Frye was going to play the back-up center role like he did when Robin Lopez and Amar’e Stoudemire was still around. With Frye out that role will most likely go to Jermaine O’Neal who was signed by the Suns as an insurance blanket just in case something like this happened. Channing Frye is a family man, a husband and a father of two children, Planet Orange certainly wishes Frye a get well soon.
