Disaster Averted: Suns vs Wizards Grades

Disaster averted, go back to your daily routines. The Suns didn’t falter on the back end of a back-to-back. Granted, it was against the Wizards, but either way, it’s still all good.

Marcin Gortat: A+
He played 40+ minutes in both games against the Lakers, came out against the Wizards and performed. Granted, he didn’t crash the glass as much (fortunately, Channing Frye was paying his dues this time out), but he did get his third consecutive 20 point game, which is just simply great.

Steve Nash: A+
A near triple-double for Steve-o. Unfortunately, he fell 3 rebounds short of that milestone. Still, a nice night from Steve, his shooting mini-woes aside. Oh, and he blocked John Wall, too.

Channing Frye: A+
Channing actually played a very good game. He scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rips. Yay.

Grant Hill: B+
Grant played good D on Nick Young and despite shooting 3-12, he still managed to get to the line and score 11 points.

Michael Redd: B+
Redd scored 14 points. He’s not dead, ladies and gents. He’s not dead yet.

Jared Dudley: B
Jared had his classic, hustle-filled game. Nothing more to add.

Sebastian Telfair: B
Bassy scored well off the bench, saving the starters from coming back in the 4th quarter. Bravo, Bassy.

Shannon Brown, Markieff Morris: C-
These guys weren’t really efficient but gave effort. Can’t ask for much more.

Robin Lopez: F
1 point and 2 fouls in 2 minutes. Marcin Gortat needs rest, you know…
