So... Ummm... Yeah: Suns vs Nuggets Game Grades

The Nash-less Suns were an eyesore on the middle game of a back to back to back, and while some good things happened, it seems that the disaster was impossible to avert.

The Suns looked good for a good chunk of the second half, when they tied the game up. Then… Then it just went downhill from there. Here are the grades.

Michael Redd: A+
Mike Redd isn’t dead. He just isn’t. He scored 20 points on decent shooting. Sure, maybe his D was lacking, maybe he turned the ball over, but the truth is that Redd is the feel good story of the year for any Suns fan. I just can’t help but join it.

Markieff Morris: A+
Kieff set a new career high with 21 points and grabbed 5 offensive boards, stole the ball four times and blocked it twice. This man has the potential to be a jack-of-all trades, and he showed it tonight. Way to go, kiddo.

Marcin Gortat: C+
Yes, it’s a big drop. Gortat didn’t seem comfortable after scoring 25 against the Dubs. Not that he was getting help from his teammates in the “good shot aspect”. He did have a double-double with 3 assists though, so I’m going to give him a C-level grade for an unexpected fantasy bonus.

Every other Suns player: F
I just couldn’t look through them one by one, but Ronnie Price had more turnovers than assists, Shannon Brown was gunning for 2-11, Robin Lopez was 0-7, even Jared Dudley seemed rather disconnected. Just not a good game for the team, at all.
