The Phoenix Suns waived 11-year veteran point guard Chucky Atkins Monday, according to a press release. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound consummate backup point guard was brought on Sept. 27 to battle Matt Janning and Zabian Dowdell for the team’s third point guard spot.
