Nash called Dudley his "player of the game." I would have to agree, after sitting behind the scorer's table to see the gane live.

Glad Grant Hill got that good advice from his dad. I would have hoped he would have learned that back at Duke. Same advice I give to my son Jacob and that I learned from K.C. Jones, one of the best defenders ever. Hill can now teach this to our young guys. Make them even more potent defensively.

Speaking of our young guys, we need to keep them intact for next year, learning from their own mistakes, from Gentry, from Nash, and from Hill. This nonesense about trading Barbosa, a rare talent when healthy and very good for the chemistry of the team, makes me sick. Over the years, he has won lots of games for the Suns. Just his presense has meant so much to this team, ever since coming back from his operation on his cyst.

MUST start and also finish with LB. Let's go SUNS!!!!

OK, since you guys wanted it....

Spurs will win the next 2 at home and then let's see if the Suns can get it done or not. Channing Frye either just flat out doesn't miss anything, or he will regress back to Earth in the next couple games on the road.

Pop has tried to match PHO's lineups to no avail. maybe now he'll start putting in bigger lineups to our advantage. don't underestimate Pop, and don't underestimate the HEART OF A CHAMPION!

Also, it's tough to see the Spurs winning in 5 now. I guess I'll change it to 7.

@ Unnthor - The Suns did not play the Grizzlies in the '05 playoffs, and they did not sweep anybody that year.

I wouldn't be afraid fellow Suns loyalists.

These are not the same Spurs. They don't have a pair of guys sitting in each corner waiting for open threes.

They don't have the same Tim Duncan. Sure he went off a bit tonight, but he doesn't do that on a nightly basis.

Our Suns aren't dead tired because of Mike D. Running 7 of them into the ground for 82 games of the regular season.

We have tremendous depth on the bench.

Frye tends to struggle on the road, but that's okay. Barbosa tends to explode on the road, Dudley and Dragic are going to play well regardless.

Amare tends to go beast mode on the road against the Spurs, but this time he'll have help instead of being by himself.

Suns in 5 or 7. They just won't get a game 6 in SA.

PJ, I am in complete agreement with you. If the Spurs also hold serve on their homecourt, then it's a whole new series. Spurs are just a dangerous team and overconfidence from two gritty home wins is even more dangerous.

Upon further review, the Suns haven't won four straight HOME playoff games since 1995. That change has been noted in the text, and yeah, they have not won four in a row in general since sweeping the Grizzlies and then winning Game 1 against Dallas in 2005.

Also, it is veeeeery interesting how much quieter this place has gotten in terms of Spurs fan posters......

@jaythatch Came here to ask that. I seem to remember a certain 48 MOH Blogger predicting a "fairly short series" with the Spurs winning in 4 or 5? I don't like his odds much today...

Game 3 is now the most important game obviously. Spurs will look at this as their elimination game. They have controlled the tempo for most of Game 2, yet still got beat. Suns must look to take charge of the tempo and see how Spurs can react. Suns must adjust to the 3 point defense that the Spurs will undoubtedly use. Barbosa needs to step it up now and play like he did in the Portland series. Suns must have that road win mentally and use that to drive another nail into their coffin.
