Brandon Roy returns in Game 4 … WTF?

Posted by on April 24th, 1:49 pm

The Portland Trail Blazers have activated All-Star guard Brandon Roy for today’s Game 4 against the Phoenix Suns.

Roy underwent surgery on the torn meniscus in his right knee eight days ago. The Blazers originally ruled him out for this series, so it will be interesting to see if he’s the real B-Roy or an injured shell of his former self.

The Blazers also replaced Rudy Fernandez in the starting lineup with Jerryd Bayless, so Roy will come off the bench. Nicolas Batum also started.

We will soon see if Roy’s activation shifts control of the series or if it will just wake up the Suns and prevent a letdown.

Michael Schwartz founded ValleyoftheSuns in October 2008 and is the owner/editor emeritus of the site. He is currently working toward his MBA in sports business at San Diego State University.

    Suns lost THAT game four.

But not THIS (vs. Spurs) 4th game.

Dudley was deadly and so was one-eyed Nash. Best plus/minus (+/-) were Dud & the Brazilian Blur.

MUST start and also finish with LB. Let's go SUNS!!!!
