Good try Mike. "Matchup" analysis, even if you were to have gotten the correct matchups, are meaningless at best. What counts is the collective energy and intensity of the whole team. Very sorry to open and read this so late. Have been busy with work this week. So for me to review the obvious and tell you that this was a poor analysis that didn't get a single thing right is truly not fair.

Therefore, I will pretend that I didn't read this. Instead, with game four starting soon, I will sort of stick my own neck out there, on the line. Suns' key to this series has proven to be our ability, or the lack thereof, to stop Andre Miller. This must feel like the good old days of Nellie Ball to J-Rich, who now is "free at last." With J-Rich going on a shooting spree to celebrate his new found freedom from having to play "D", Nash has found a hot outside hand to feed. Hill has done a VERY good job on Andre Miller. STAT, on the other hand, has been taken out of his game by a collapsing Portland zone. Suns have been a VERY resilient team. Since Jan. 26, our Suns are the ONLY NBA team to have won EACH game, following a loss. THIS is MUCH more important than having a winning streak. Very hard to lose a playoff series when the team bounces back like that.

Suns have the potential to be EVEN better than we have been. Need to give our young guys some playoff time before they can step up their game. We know they are capable of MUCH more than this. Starting Collins does not seem to help. Stop starting him. Frye fits in well with the 2ns team. Good potential scoring punch to compliment the hustlers and scrappers from that unit. Wait a minute!!!! Suns have just added D-League rebounding king "Basketball Jones" to the team. Gentry has guts. He played Jones some in our last home game. VERY impressive!!!! Best rebounder, far ans away, on our team. Plays "D" and has a nose for the ball. Even better idea is to play small ball. Nellie sometimes will give the Trail Blazers a hard time. Let's learn from this. Earl has shown a VAST improvement, since coming back. Jump shot? Not any more!!!! He aggressively attacks the hoop now that he is back from Iowa. BEST idea would be to play TINY BALL. Very small but VERY fast. Last game, Suns seemed at their best playing Nash, J-Rich, and Barbosa, all at the same time. Move STAT, who is ineffective in this series at the four (power forward) spot to the five (center) spot. Move tough minded Grant Hill to the four spot. This leaves the three (small forward) spot open for J-Rich (like OKC has done with Durant). The two (shooting guard) spot would then open for our Brazilian Blur. This line up would give up some more points in the paint, but MUCH more than make up for it with more steals, better passing, improved shooting and scoring LOTS more.

MUST start and also finish with LB. Let's go SUNS!!!!
