[...] That was a nice lil butt kicking the Phoenix Suns put on last night. Amare Stoudemire was sexamatastic, with his usual 30 points and 14 rebounds, but this was a total team effort. From valleyofthesuns.com; [...]

Just a dominating performance by the team. STAT with 3 blocks. Our PGs combined for 2 points, 18 assists, and only 5 turnovers. Over a 3 to 1 assist to TO ration, huge!
Dragic's ankle didn't look that bad, but who knows, only Goran and the best trainer in the NBA Aaron Nelson.

Glad to hear Barbosa is getting closer, thanks Z!

Very good piece Mike.

By the way, the Suns WERE a full game behind Utah. With a win last night, our team is now ONLY HALF A GAME BACK of the Jazz. What this means is that the winner of this evening's game will leave the US Airways Center in the top four in the West. If that team can stay in the top four come the end of the year, it will open the playoffs at home. With so much riding on this game, BOTH teams will feel playoff type pressure and will play this like it is the championship game. Jazz will have the advantage in this game because they were able to rest. Suns will face the post adrenaline crash test after celebrating a good win last night and have gotten virtually zero sleep coming back late. My son Jacob has been sick. Glad I was able to find a buddy to go with at the last moment to help give a badly needed boost to our team in the Nuggets game. Hope I can find someone to take Jacob's place for the Jazz game. THIS is a MUST win game.

Good news will come soon. Barbosa shot the ball well at the shoot around at the Nuggets game. Any game now, he could be back. Even if Dragic did not get hurt, having LB back, particularly if he went back into the starting line up along side Nash, will be a HUGE PLUS!!!! Hill is playing his best ball in a long time and never really participated in a Suns playoff series - he was hurt two years ago when we played the Spurs - and hopefully will stay healthy this year. He is a very good leader when playing with our young guys. Hope Dragic's ankle wasn't sprained badly, like LB's was earlier this year. Nash will be able to contribute more when he gets healed from problems he is having with his abdomen and his back. Suns will have nearly a week off soon and that time should help Nash to heal, we hope. STAT is ready for a run at a ring. Atop all of the good things we are seeing in the play of our young guys, Hill, and STAT, is the prospect for a healthier Nash and a returning Brazilian Blur.

MUST start and also finish with LB. Let's go SUNS!!!!
