A Compendium of Steve Nash Being Awesome

Steve Nash is fucking awesome.  That’s just a scientific fact.  It’s not just his ridiculous round-rockin’ skills (though that’s part of it).  It’s not just the fact that he continues gettin’ it done as an old man (in the basketball world, although that’s part of it, too).  It’s not just that he’s a good dude who does tons of stuff for charity and has a signature shoe made of recycled material (again, part of it).  It’s all that…but with a healthy dose of what’s about to come.

So I know that many of these videos have been around for a while and that they may be old news for many of you.  But there are some newby Sun-N-Gunners out there who might be familiar with Nash’s body of work.  So here you go…the first one comes from a TNT commercial from a couple years back:

Funny, right?  Yeah.  So let’s take a look at Nash a little more on his own, doin’ it for Dave at the NBA Finals:

Yeah, that’s good stuff.  He’s clever and funny and self-deprecating and all of that stuff you want in a comedian/NBA player.  How about a little off-the-cuff business:

Here’s a commercial for his recycled-material shoes:

I don’t know if that commercial was actually continued or not.  I’m working on that one.  Now, Ol’ Steve also has this thing going with BoomDizzle hizzownself (you know, Baron Davis).  They’ve got a production company together, which is awesome because they’re both hilarious.  Here’s something they put out a while back:

And I know this is about Nash, but let’s just throw a shout to this sweet B.Diddy video (featuring his awesome Li Ning gear):

Anyway, then there’s all the stuff that Nash has done for vitaminwater.  These are just great.  He’s seven different kinds of funny.  Check ‘em out:

And if you stuck around ’til now, and you haven’t seen this yet, well, it’s worth it.  Because this is amazing.

And if that wasn’t enough, you can catch all the stuff that Nash is now directing (which mostly consists of him getting his teammates to act goofy) on his youtube page.  I love Steve Nash.
