[...] He mixed in aggressive drives, scoop shots, and contested threes and the Suns looked like the best team in the NBA for the better part of a quarter. Most of that came with a lineup of Dragic-Richardson-Dudley-Amundson-Frye, mixed in with a little bit of Earl Clark and Robin Lopez–the very same group that played so well during the Golden State victory.
Good win.

My son Jacob and I normally bring the Suns good luck when we go to a home game. But we must not have when we attended Friday night's game. At least Jacob got a chance to sit on the Suns bench during pre-game warm ups, as one of the "High 5 Kids." Good to see, at least at home, that the Suns had the mental toughness, pride, and competitiveness, to bounce back after this loss, on the back end game. If we improve the chemistry of the team, perhaps we will be able to work on doing that on the road.

Goran really impressed me with this much needed 4th quarter performance in this much needed game. Hope he can continue to step up and would favor starting him during these 4 weeks without the Brazilian Blur. We all know how we suffered the last time LB went down. At least we don't play in February during, before, and after the All Star Game. Very frustrated and upset with the usually impressive medical staff of the Suns. LB could and should have had his wrist opened, as Janie and I told him at his "Brazilian Bash", while he was out 4 weeks with his badly sprained ankle, so he could recover, all at once. Poor planning. Gentry's line up changes were a VERY good idea. We can see how it's helped Lopez' game and the overall rebounding battle for the Suns. It's a shame we were not treated to its full potential, inasmuch as LB could not accurately shoot his shot.

MUST start and ALSO finish with LB. Let's go SUNS!!!!

Suns showed signs of resilience against the 2nd worst team in the conference....not a mindblowing victory by any standards but the defensive intensity especially in the 2nd half by the 2nd unit was heartwarming. Still overall defensive play was - at times - horrendous. Especially Nash gave his guy plenty of open looks at the basket, just lucky that Curry did not have one of his better shooting nights because the outcome would have been different! Nash's complaining about his physical confirms my impression that he has just not been getting enough rest.....it has been visible over the last 6 games and if Gentry does not step in and gives him some quality rest he will burn out. For me the single most positive point is that Gentry now has the courage to go to his bench extensively for help - finally he is trying to get the maximum out of ALL his players. It was good to see how he allowed Clark some quality playing time in the 3rd and 4th. The Suns will need him defensively and rebounding if they want to make it to the playoffs. Lopez was solid, Dragic a star, and Lou had a tremendous impact on the boards in the 4th. Dudley continues to struggle with hte shooting but his defensive effort is exemplary. JRich continous to perform below standard.....his 8 rebounds compensate somewhat for abysmal shooting but most were missed GSW shots that fell in his hands.
What I missed all night long was crisp ball movement and finding the open guy.....GSW was able to keep up defensively and contest most shots, reason why the percentage was down. The Suns will have to work on the ball movement, inside-out and vice versa...too much dribbling and not enough fast break points.
