Outlook for the Suns is bleak, the've spent all their cartidges it seems in N ovember. December was known to be a tough test and Suns just failed miserably and...with losses against LA and Boston they will end up with 11 losses in December alone.
Here's a few reasons: Gentry cannot get his team to defend and rebound with the energy and consistently needed to be a playoff candidate...the game against GSW was abominal...I've never seen such poor defending, perimeter and paint...anybody had a free walk to the basket or was allowed an unhindered perimeter shot. Suns don't create any penetration except for the pick and roll of Nash/Stat...JRich who is supposed to be a guard with penetrating qualities has played only on the perimeter and is easily defended as he only makes 2 or 3 moves to the basket in the whole game. Frye has a one-dimensional game: shooting 3's...if they don't drop he's harmless as he has no postup game and no strong moves to the basket...once the defendse figures him out he's easy to defend. Hill had a fantastic start of the season, great rebounding and scoring but he's completely out of sink the last two weeks - let JDud start and bring Hill off the bench. Bring Dragic and Amundson off the bench much earlier, let them get into the normal game rhytm...Dragic needs time to build up confidence in the game and Luis brings great energy and rebounding and...lately also points. Get Clark in there, he's got the atletic ability and versatility to help his team, throw him out there and let him contribute....why do other teasm get monster contributions from their rookies while the Suns get none? Put Lopez on the floor, even if he picks up 5 fouls in 10 minutes, he'snot going to learn hwo to avoid them on the bench! Finally - use Tucker or trade him....don't understand what you're saving him for..he's 25 years for god's sake...he'll retire before having the chance to play a whole game. I'm unhappy with the way Gentry uses his assets, what's the sense in using a tight rotation if GSW sneekes 132 points past you, NY 120+ and some others too. Time to makes some drastic changes because you're going to secure a bottom-tier playoff spot at best so you may as well start opening up your rotation and work on the depth of your team, the only way to survive 1st round against teams like Dallas or Denver, forget LA. My last advice: trade JRich, package him with Tucker, and get an experienced defensive backup SG for LB and some serious rebounding power.

Said it before but we MUST find a way to deal with the post adrenaline crash on the back to back last game.

Best news is there are no back-to-backs in the playoffs. Until we get there, we need to improve in this situation to give us a shot at finishing in the top 4 in the West. This way we will start the playoffs at home.

Need to finish back-to-backs with fresh legs. Nash, LB, and J-Dud are VERY good at the back end game. This particular game was a shot for J-Rich to stuff it in the face of his old team. He didn't accomplish that but he was inspired to be MUCH better than he normally is in the back end game. Stay away from those guys, like J-Rich, that show us they don't have it in the back-end game. They are STAT, Frye and Hill. They all, I'm sure, wish they could play their best. My son Jacob came up with a good idea. Play our regular rotation in the first half of the back end game. Only sit STAT, Frye, J-Rich, and Hill, if we're starting to lose. This will give the Suns reserves ample time to turn the game with the continued help of LB and Nash. Even under the best of circumstances during the first half, STAT, Frye, J-Rich, and Hill need to sit the last half. During half time, post adrenaline crash hits VERY hard. Legs begin to feel like lead. The 2nd half for these guys is ugly. When STAT, Frye, J-Rich, and Hill take that extra rest in the 2nd half, we can use the fresh legs of J-Dud (who I would like to see start each game), Louis, and Tucker and/ or Dragic and or Earl. They may be able to play a high level game under the leadership of LB (who will help us get more wins the more we expand his role) and Nash at best. At worst, we will have lots of energy and fresh legs.

MUST start and ALSO finish with LB. Let's go SUNS!!!!

That sound you hear is the sound of Suns fans giving up on hope and crashing back to reality. If Suns make the playoffs they will be a one and done this year.
