The NBA has become a joke. There is absolutely no accountability for the officials. Stu Jackson is merely a puppet. The Suns lost the game by not playing well down the stretch, but it certainly doesn't help when the officials turn a blind eye to several obvious calls. At one point the NBA was my favorite but I have become jaded. I still watch the game, but I no longer truly enjoy it. The NFL is the best product out there. Perhaps David Stern could learn a thing or two from how the NFL conducts its business. Just ask Ed Hochuli. Even though he was considered the best NFL referee, Roger Goodell had enough stones to properly punish him for an inexcusable call. Regardless of the offense, David Stern protects NBA officials like they were his children. And we wonder why NBA ratings are dropping?

I feel like anytime I write something about the refs, I am whining, but honestly, Donaghy said mailing the NBA video footage of missed calls really helps... Maybe we should do that.
