I can't even imagine a better situation for Lopez. He comes in with NO pressure after the start Channing has had. He is fresh, although banged up slightly. We play 3 games that he should be able to get garbage minutes if the Suns play up to par. Then we are tested on the road with Cleveland at the end. The perfect opportunity to test him against a legit big man in either Shaq or Z.

Also, watch for Channing to struggle from outside as he has on the road all season, if he does, it's easy to sub in the defensive oriented RoLo.
I am actually excited to see him.

If this does become a blowout early, I really hope they give Lopez and Clark some burn at the 5 and the 3 at the same time with Amundson at the 4, Dragic at the 1, and either Dudley or Barbosa at the 2.

It's not a factor of needed them now, in these games, but we'll need both of those guys ready to roll come March. Hopefully they're doing the same thing in practice because I think, as a second unit, the Suns really have potential across the front line to be defensive, athletic, and rebound hungry.

Dragic also needs as much time as possible with this bunch because they're basically his team as the second unit general. He needs to know where they'll be and how they like the ball fed to them.

To be honest, all I want from Lopez is 10+ boards and 2+ blocks a game and a bunch of shot alterations.
I don't even want him to be a back-to-the-basket type of guy. I'd rather they give him a jump hook and a 10 foot jump shot kind of like Yao Ming's game coming into the league.

That way he's still a problem down low without having to play conventional, and he can still help space the floor.
