It’s gonna be a heartbreaking season for sure. We can’t rely on the assumption that we have the best offensive system. First of all, it might not be entirely true. And even if it is, we can’t have the best offense every night.

I think the team must have at least a minimum defensive level, specially protecting the defensive rebounds.

We still have time to bring a big man who can clean the boards on defense and get out of the way on the offensive end. Oh, I forgot the owner doesn’t want to throw some cash on the team…

Anyway, it’s gonna be a rollercoaster season and I think that we can clinch a #7 playoff berth if nothing goes terribly wrong. Nothing more, nothing less.

Couldn’t agree more on Speights….same observation…also in July 2008. You can’t even compare their ceilings.

Same with Taylor Griffin. What was the rush? Was someone going to bang down his door to give him guaranteed NBA money?

As for Dragic – hasn’t made a shot in 2 games. It’s gonna be an up and down ride…
