The Suns and the rest of the NBA world spent the weekend in mourning after Wayman Tisdale passed away early Friday morning at the age of 44 following a two-year bout with cancer.
As a Sun, I remember Tisdale as a dynamic offensive force down low, but the award-winning bassist and all-around good guy was so much more, as encapsulated by Suns.com and NewsOK.com.
Michael Schwartz founded ValleyoftheSuns in October 2008 and is the owner/editor emeritus of the site. He is currently working toward his MBA in sports business at San Diego State University.
