Game Thread: Suns (23-18) at Hawks (26-16)

Suns 104, Hawks 99

Phoenix will make its next stop on the squad’s “Revenge of the Former Suns” road trip from Hell Sunday evening in Atlanta for a tilt against Joe Johnson and the Hawks.

That’s not good news because the Hawks are 17-4 at home, and we all know how the Suns are playing.

No matter what happens the rest of the way this will go down as an ugly road trip based on how bad the Suns looked in their losses, but at least salvaging a 3-3 split of the trip wouldn’t be so terrible, especially if they can beat a good team on the road for the first time since, what, San Antonio?

If the Suns are going to turn their season around one of these days, a road win against a quality Hawks team would be a perfect place to start.

Fire Kerr and Porter NOW – before it’s too late to salvage this season.

Or just keep them and continue to force boring mediocrity on a bunch of great players, so we can get a lottery pick that Sarver can then sell to Portland. Sweet, thanks to Sarver and the Suns, I might get to see Ricky on the Blazers!
